I’ve been finding myself focusing on equipment issues for longer than I planned. It is good to get that taken care of, it’s been a few years since I’ve done that.
The fact that my current Android mobile devices can’t even see my local staging server to develop with prompted me to look into putting better operating systems onto them, but it turns out that I “underbought” with them and they don’t support alternative operating systems. So I ordered another relatively inexpensive Android tablet and a phone device that do support that. Those will be much more useful and secure for me. The price of mobile devices has dropped a lot since I bought the last ones. Both the tablet and the phone are refurbished, and I also saved money by buying a purple version of the phone which will be covered by the protective case anyway. I suppose I could sell the previous devices, but I wouldn’t get much money for them since I bought the least expensive ones that I could at the time, and they will still be useful to have around anyway.
This video is very interesting explaining how normal cell phone conversations are not encrypted over the air. It is better to use a land line for talking on the phone, or using an app on the mobile device that encrypts the voice data.
Recently I’ve been working a lot on technical issues, so I haven’t updated the content of NOITV or OpenMindedRealism in a while.
In the past few days I’ve been getting my equipment more in order, such as getting my mobile devices running, and also I’ve been tweaking the sites that I’ve been working on for mobile devices. I’m glad that those sites are now working properly and looking good.
I actually have a lot of mobile devices, I have an iPhone, and iPad, an old iPod touch, and an Android phone and a tablet. I would use them more, but in my current circumstances I usually have access to my desktop computers instead. It is good to have those devices to test with though.
Today I uploaded changes to RoomaZoomZoom, GUYM, and SolarHat.TV to make them always be viewed in portrait mode on mobile devices. It took some time and experimentation to figure out how to do that, but they work pretty well that way. Sometimes there was some wonky inconsistent issues with the text though, but overall it works well. I’m using a “rotate the CSS” method for doing that, which has the most compatibility among various devices. There are other methods as well but those are still considered “experimental”, so I haven’t tried them. I found almost all of the information that I needed on the Stack Overflow forum, which I use frequently when doing web development.
I found the mobile browsers not always able to handle making the sites be horizontal though, where they sometimes display the text in an inconsistent manner after the screen orientation is changed (or before it is changed.) For the moment that isn’t really a problem though. I’ll work out how to fix that issue later, and if it can’t really be fixed I’ll do a different type of design for the mobile versions altogether. Actually for GUYM I simply made an image with the text already on it for the time being (but the link is still clickable), and for Solarhat.TV I left the text off of the portrait view, which I think adds some mystery to it anyway.
You might need to clear the cache in your mobile browser if it has old versions of the sites in it. You do that on iOS by viewing the sites in “private” mode and refreshing it, which will remove the old one.
For some reason I can’t get my Android devices to see my local development server due to some sort of a setting that I need to find, so I’m just now looking at them with the live site. I notice there are some issues with the designs on the Android tablet, so I’ll fix that right away. It will be probably be fixed by the time you read this.
I wish I would have done all this much sooner. I feel ridiculous for not fixing the websites earlier, sorry about that.
Currently the new functionalities for NOITV are somewhat disassembled, since I started a process of taking it apart and putting it together again to optimize it for most effectively developing it further. I’ll be getting back to working on that soon. Further development of that will be more rapid since I already worked through the most difficult technical aspects of it. It will be nice to do a redesign of NOITV also, but currently I’m working on other aspects of it.
Doing the “no timing of things” is working out well, it is very liberating. I’m confident that I’ll stick with it this time. I have the computer just tell me the time in half hour intervals. I do have the wheatgrass grow lights set to automatically turn on and off at 7:18, however.
(Also I made some presumptions with some of my decisions lately. I hope things are ok with that.. It’s been a while since I’ve spoken with people to say the least.)

I keep seeing information on Bitchute saying that people are dying because of the vaccines. I think it is strange that there is so little concern about that in the public.
I think the problem is that there isn’t a centralized recognized authority on the internet that talks about issues with Covid that the general public, activists, and people in the media can recognize as a known legitimate source about the matter. Why haven’t the key doctors who speak out about issues with Covid formed a coalition of some sort? The doctors would be much safer if they were as high profile as possible anyway. I wonder what is stopping them from doing that, do they disagree on politics?
The situation with the Covid tyranny keeps getting worse since whatever few activists that exist are scattered all over the place and not coordinated. It is good that individual activists and organizations are speaking out about the matter, but without a single centralized recognized source their efforts are not really having an effect since the vaccines are still being mandated.
Most people in the general public still don’t believe that the authorities could have malicious intent, and I think they assume that if in fact such people actually did have such intent that a source would exist to counter it as I am describing.

It’s frightening how the United States and the world are going down a toilet. I saw this Ingraham Angle video clip explaining many aspects of the current state of things.
It’s crazy that Joe Biden is the President of the United States while almost nobody in the media is criticizing him. Could you imagine if the media and celebrities had the same critical standards for him that they had for Trump? I suppose his being in office right now could at least be thought of as being a good opportunity to expose the corruption of the global elite. Once he is replaced by Harris it is going to be a problem, because many leftist feminist types or whoever will support everything that she does simply because she’s a woman.
I’m looking forward to getting NOTV working again with the new capabilities.
I think the websites look a lot better. I will have the improved mobile device interfaces for them implemented soon.
The situation with the iPhone was really unsettling. Somehow its alarm was getting set for times that I didn’t set, and also its clock was set out of synch sometimes. I try to be careful not to jump to conclusions about such things, but that obviously seemed very deliberate. Who knows what the source of that was. I never really used the phone much anyway except as an alarm clock, really.
I’ve been getting into the problematic habit of timing things again. I find myself thinking “what harm could it do to give ‘ups’ to a certain time,” however doing so “poisons” the other times. It was a very bad habit to fall into, I strongly recommend against doing that. It creates a type of a prison for you. What does the specific “time” that you choose to do something have to do with anything anyway?– Especially since it poisons other times unnecessarily, which is much worse than whatever positivity may come from giving “ups” to a certain time.
Thankfully I don’t do that for when I’m shopping anymore, however when I’m putting together online orders I’ve been finding myself trying to tweak the orders for a “positive” price, ect., which I will also stop doing.
Being in a vacuum doesn’t help to shake the habit, but this time I think I will. Starting today I’m stopping doing that with all aspects of things. I’ve turned off my computer clocks and I’m not going to worry about the timing of anything again in that way, including lights, ect.. I pray every day, that is enough. I will have the computer signal every half hour so I can keep track of time.
The dates of the days won’t matter either, but I would at least like the resolution to happen on a “positive” day number-wise though. It should have happened recently, why didn’t it? Anyway there is a lot that I can be doing, so I’m keeping busy with things.
I’ve been improving a lot of my websites, including making them responsive so they can be viewed on tablets and phones.
I think Solarhat.TV looks a lot better with it now filling the screen. I also changed Open Minded Realism to have a link on its nav bar to a search page, and Sketchspace now has HTTPS enabled.
I also fixed the homepage for GiveUsYourMoney.TV, which was made in Flash years ago. Flash is no longer used on web browsers, however the same type of interface for GUYM can now be made using CSS and Javascript.
I haven’t really worked with CSS and Javascript in a while, but I’m getting the hang of it again after some research and experimentation. I’m starting to use JQuery as well. My Windows system is not running right now so I still need to check the sites on that.
I’ve switched to using an old-style flip phone because somehow the alarm on my iPhone was being set to go off at times when I didn’t tell it to, which concerns me. Also iPhones are generally invasive anyway and they aren’t open source. I still have my iPhone without the cellular plan, but I need to set it up again. I still need to test the new configurations of the sites on real mobile devices, but I did look at online simulations.
I’m looking into making the RoomaZoomZoom / GUYM / Solarhat TV style of websites always display in landscape mode on phones and tablets, which is uncommon but is technically possible. I will post the next update to them soon with their mobile capabilities much more refined.
I’ve been busy working on implementing technical enhancements to NOITV over the past month, it is coming along well.
I’m glad to report that the squirrel I found in my attic the other month is doing well. He along with other squirrels that were being cared for were recently transferred to another facility.
Soon after I found the squirrel in my attic, I made a design for a web page explaining what to do if you find a squirrel, but I didn’t get around to coding page and posting it until this morning. It is located at https://savethatsquirrel.com. Squirrels have three birthing seasons each year— in the early Spring, the early Summer, and the late Summer. Mine was born in the late summer when the temperatures are the hottest. I will post a link to the article at the beginning of each birthing season to help inform people about what to do.
Things are really crazy in the world recently. Like I mentioned recently in posts on OMR, I can’t believe that there isn’t some sort of an ultimate online resource explaining issues with COVID and vaccines that activists universally recognize as being a key resource to link to. Enormous amounts of important information about those issues are basically just sitting out there, and without it being concentrated in such a manner it isn’t making any difference at all since there currently isn’t nearly nearly enough public awareness to result in the mandates being stopped. The only way to stop the deadly forced vaccinations from happening is for a majority of people to be aware of their outrageous dangers. I think currently about 5% of the population is aware, however the vast majority of people need to understand what is happening in order for any real changes to occur.
I am going to continue to be working on the technical issues with NOITV for the time being.
It was a big annoyance and a time drain to have to re-upload the videos that were on the NOITV YouTube video channel, but I’m glad that they are now elsewhere. I was intending to move them anyway. I’m a big fan of BitChute. Of course there are some controlled opposition channels on that platform, ect.., due to the open nature of it; but whatever, others are not.
You can see the NOITV BitChute channel at this link.
Moving the videos has been time consuming because I needed to create many of the poster images again, upload the videos, and update the pages that embed them. I was using YouTube since before they allowed you to upload your own poster images, when they gave you only three randomly selected images to choose from. It is a good thing that I usually simply embedded most of the videos from other channels, otherwise moving them would have taken even longer.
I think it would be great if activists could coordinate an “Exodus from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter day,” where content creators would prepare in advance by having their videos already set to go on other platforms, with a daily “countdown” happening toward that day. That way people could update their webpages to embed videos from the new platforms in the meantime so there wouldn’t be a disruption of the flow of the information.
I don’t understand why many activists often say in their videos: “I would say (this and that), but can’t say that because YouTube doesn’t allow it”(!) Usually they don’t even have YouTube channels that are monetized. What could they be getting out of posting to YouTube that they can’t get elsewhere that makes them think it is worthwhile to compromise their messages to be on that platform? (And not to mention them endorsing YouTube by using it?)
Also I don’t understand why many activists continue to post to Twitter and link to it on their webpages. Perhaps they think “the information is getting out that way anyway” by using it, but I don’t think posting to that is making much of a difference. Who even really looks at Twitter except for leftists who like Rob Reiner and Bette Midler? Every time I try to look at it I’m annoyed by the avalanche of posts on it that are mostly created by Establishment trolls and bots.
I hope all is well. Things are really crazy in the word as of late. I can’t believe what is actually happening in Australia with the totalitarian lockdown and the COVID camps. It is like a bad dream but it is real. I wonder what most Aussies think about that. How could it be anything other than 100% of them opposed to it?— But I have a feeling that many are blissfully going along with it though, unfortunately. How could anyone even consider taking a horrible vaccine when there is so much of information showing how useless and dangerous they are? It boggles my mind.
I wonder what people are thinking about the information that I have been posting, I think it is very important. Note also that I sometimes link to important content on Henry Makow’s site, but I don’t always agree with his approach on all of his articles, as I’ve mentioned before.
It’s unfortunate that YouTube now behaves the way that it does with taking down content that is not friendly to the political Establishment. I’m not really affected much by them taking down the NOITV channel though, except for the annoyance of needing to take the time to re-upload the videos elsewhere. I never really got very significant numbers of views (or at least they said that I never got very many views, even on videos such as the chemtrail timelapses.) Actually I did get a few hundred thousand views on the “American Drug War: The Last White Hope” video though, but not many on most of the others.
I always used the channel as simply a way to serve videos that are included along with important written information on the web pages, so therefore I never really paid that much attention to it except to throw videos onto it when needed.
I must say that YouTube didn’t used to censor nearly as much. For example, at around 2016 I was learning a lot about issues with Islam, but YouTube now often refuses to show such information because they now officially consider Islam to be a “protected group.” Much of the information about Islam on Open Minded Realism and NOITV I learned through communicators on YouTube, either directly or indirectly.
I was recently surprised to learn that the Google Chrome browser has an enormous share of internet users, which I never realized. But as popular as Google is, there are alternates to pretty much all aspects of the company, so I don’t think it can really be called a “monopoly.”
In any event, I think any rational and intelligent person who is well informed would agree that YouTube is evil for censoring crucial life-and-death information about COVID and vaccines and alternative treatments that is all easily proven to be true based on huge amounts of of testimony by completely legitimate doctors and scientists. Again it is like a bad dream but it is real. How can it be? What do the employees of that crappy company think about themselves and what they are doing? At least they have to live in the horrible city of San Fransisco.
I don’t understand the way that activists are still trying to cling to a few popular but completely corrupt media companies that can easily be boycotted in favor of others. People should have simply started screaming bloody murder and fleeing in droves at the first sign of trouble, rather than saying that the government should be reinforcing people using the corrupt companies and the government should be dictating to media companies what they can allow people to say and not to say! Being in the right has an enormous amount of weight behind it, much more than many people seem to assume it does. Those companies would have suffered greatly due to an exodus of intelligent and righteous quality contributors occurring, and better companies would have flourished upon receiving them.
However, I certainly think that internet infrastructure companies and financial service companies should not be allowed to discriminate though, as I’ve mentioned many times before.
I wish the resolution would have happened by now, so many great things could have happened already. What are people waiting for? Remember that there is also going to need to be some time to adjust and become informed about what the situation has been, as well as to start putting together the organizations. No matter how much the situation in the world continues to degrade, it will be important that I build the organizations from the start, or it won’t work. As long as people are open and willing, I think it will start to come together quickly when the time comes.
Also remember that I’m no longer using the “amounts” that I get to determine the resolution happening, if that has been some sort of a stumbling block to it happening.
I’ve been sidetracked from working on NOITV lately, and I’m about to start digging in with working on that again.
I spoke with Raven Ridge today, where they are rehabilitating the squirrel that I brought in. He is doing well, which is a big relief. Also he is with two other baby squirrels, which is also a very good thing.
When I was traveling with him in the cooler, the lid was closed, but the cooler has a rather large hole drilled into it because I use it as a Tempeh incubator, so there was no danger of him not getting enough air.
Tempeh is a meat substitute that is essentially a dense “Mushroom Cake” that is made from beans that are coated with a special kind of spores that are then incubated at a precise temperature. It pretty much has the same consistency (and even vaguely tastes) of Swiss cheese when sliced and eaten raw, but it doesn’t melt when cooked like cheese does, and it more or less has the consistency of a meat when it is cooked, such as when it is fried. Therefore it is often used as the primary ingredient in vegan gyros, as well as used as a patty in vegan hamburgers and other types of sandwiches.
See many pictures of Tempeh and ways that it is prepared on Wikipedia.
The website Betsy’s Tempeh is where I learned about it. It is delicious, even if you are not a vegetarian or a vegan. It is traditionally made from Soybeans, but I make it using Adzuki beans instead.
(Also sometimes I hear claims that the political Establishment is conspiring to “eliminate meat,” and “make everyone eat mashed bugs instead,” however I don’t think they actually intend to change the global chain of meat production, for many reasons.)
Here is the incubator that I built. The hole in the cooler is to allow cords into it, because the setup makes use of an aquarium heater and an air stone on the bottom of it in a water bath, as well as a temperate sensor that regulates the heat. The dish becomes filled with a solid block of Tempeh after a few days.
I’m glad that I had the cooler for the little guy because the bus was so air conditioned that it was like a cold refrigerator during the rather long trip, which felt great but it would have been a big problem for him. The cooler more or less trapped the previous hot air from the outside, although I felt a need to open it near the end of the trip, so I put the towel on top of him to keep him warm.
[NOTE: This story has a happy ending (hopefully), but if you find a baby squirrel you should immediately search for professional help in your area right away, rather than attempting to rehabilitate it yourself. Online information about rehabilitating squirrels is inconsistent and sometimes wrong and it often doesn’t stress enough what is most important to do and not to do. Only act on the advice of the professional help that you contact before you try to feed it or give it any water, or you can seriously harm it and likely even cause its death!]
The other night I heard chirping on the other side of the door into my attic, and upon opening the door I found a small hairless infant squirrel laying on the stoop. I was surprised to see that because I haven’t heard any squirrels in my attic for a long time, and I assumed that they no longer had any access.
So I clamored to try to figure out what to do. I first put the squirrel in a large plastic container with a towel on the bottom of it, but then I decided to put the towel on the stoop inside the attic and let the squirrel rest on that for the rest of the night with the hope that its mother would return.
Here’s the little guy. Note that all of the pictures are taken on the last day of my having him, when he abruptly started growing dark fur. In the previous days he was hairless.
I turned a light on in the attic so the mother could see if she came inside, but while I did that I accidentally tripped a fuse, and the power in much of my apartment went out, including to my computers. So I took that as a sign to just go to bed until the morning.
In the morning the squirrel was still alive and chirping, so I put it back into the plastic container and then went to the store to buy things to help it after doing some research online. I was anxious to get the materials that I needed as quickly as possible, and thus in retrospect I unfortunately missed some of the most important online information that I could have seen about it.
While he was small and hairless, he was also rather large where I could tell that he was not a newborn and he was likely at least over a week old. I think it was very strange for me to find him like that, with him being so large and in such a place with no trace of his mother. He was at the bottom of a large wooden stairwell, and I shudder to think what he went through to get to that location! It must have been a lot of extremely painful drops on each step in the dark while crawling forward— pure suffering! (That is if the mother hadn’t deposited him there for some reason, which I doubt because there has been no sign of her, and I haven’t heard her.) The next day I left the attic door open with the hope that the mother would come into the house looking for her pup, but there was nothing.
A few weeks previously I found a decomposing body of a much smaller baby squirrel in the same location, but I wasn’t sure if it was a mouse or a squirrel, and I assumed it was a mouse because I haven’t heard any squirrels in the attic recently.
According to instructions that I saw online, I started treating him by hydrating him with Pedialyte using a tiny 1cc feeding syringe. Pedialyte is similar to Gatorade, with it being intended to re-hydrate human infants. He soon figured out how to drink from the feeding syringe when I was doing that.
I was anxious to give him milk though, so I did that during the next feeding a few hours later. I gave him powdered Esbilac Puppy Milk Replacer, which most websites say is the most appropriate milk to give to nursing squirrels. He took to drinking it well, however the next day I started to become very worried because I was then finding a lot of information online that said that the squirrel must first be totally hydrated before giving it any milk for the first time, because otherwise it might die. I was worried that I didn’t hydrate him enough before giving the milk, and I became more and more worried that the milk was accumulating in his body and it would eventually kill him. Before I first fed him, he did go to the bathroom by peeing and having tiny poops, but not afterwards, which was the biggest reason for my concern.
I became really worried when I saw a website that said you should first give Pedialyte to the baby squirrel every 15 minutes for about 2 hours before you start giving it milk for the first time, which was much more than what I did, since I only gave it to him one time! Eventually I became so worried that I stopped giving him milk and I switched back to hydrating him only with Pedialyte instead, and in the morning I found some tiny little poops in the bin, which relieved me a bit, but he still hadn’t really started peeing again as far as I could tell. So to be sure I hydrated him only with Pedialyte instead of giving him milk for most of the rest of the day, although I don’t know if it was too late to do that.
I think it makes sense about the pup first needing to be completely hydrated before drinking milk. For example, you would never see a TV commercial where someone crosses the finish line of a marathon in the desert, to then be awarded with a tall glass of milk! He certainly never minded drinking the Pedialyte, and he was often active after doing so.
I also saw online that Squirrel milk is high in fat, and therefore it is good to mix some heavy whipping cream in with the Esbilac powder, so I started doing that also. However, I was so paranoid about not hydrating him enough at first that I think I underfed him with milk with each feeding, which might actually have been a problem as he is a bit skinnier in the pictures than of other ones at his age (although he is not emaciated like some pictures I have seen.) I also heard that giving him too much milk could kill him, so the combination of all those concerns always made me apprehensive when feeding him.
A few days later (last night) I was continuing to look for information online, and unfortunately it was only then that I found out about an organization called Acorn Acres that is nearby in Millersville that specializes in treating squirrels who are exactly in such a situation, which I initially missed in my haste to get out and purchase the materials! I called to try to make an appointment to bring him in, however they were at full capacity with squirrels due to it being the birthing season, so they couldn’t take him.
Of course I always knew that I would soon need to find some sort of a wildlife sanctuary to adopt him, but I assumed from the online information that I was seeing that professional care for newborn squirrels was rather rare and mostly beyond reach, particularly because I saw information that said it is even illegal to care for Squirrels in Pennsylvania! I didn’t realize that licensed Squirrel rehabilitators exist in many areas.
Thankfully, I then found an organization in Washington Borough, PA, called the Raven Ridge Wildlife Center, which is on the Susquehanna River near Columbia, and they were willing to take him to be rehabilitated despite the fact that they were mostly at capacity and they specialize more in rehabilitating birds. So I went on an bus adventure with him to bring him there today. Columbia is a nice town on the river; I used to live close to there, and Lancaster where I live now is nearby as well.
While I had him, the little guy slept and crawled around and stretched and yawned a lot. I noticed this morning that hair was starting to grow on his tail, head and his back, as you can see in the pictures. As far as I could tell he seemed to be very healthy except for the fact that he was not going to the bathroom enough, however that can potentially be a very serious problem, apparently. I hope the only problem was that I was not feeding him quite enough due to my concerns, since if that was the problem it could most easily be rectified.
I hope that I did not harm the little guy by making mistakes. I tried to be cautious but I was anxious to treat him as soon as possible. I’m praying that he will be ok. Squirrels can live to be twenty years old.
This link shows a list of wildlife rehabilitators in each state, and this link shows a list of wildlife rehabilitators by county in Pennsylvania, although it doesn’t list all of them, so you should also make sure to call around if you are looking for one.
I just finished a task that was very technical and rather deep in the infrastructure of NOITV. It took a lot longer than I expected, but it was important to do.
Now I’m back to focusing on implementing the remote updating capabilities, which is in a much more straightforward area. At first I will finish establishing the basic functionality of it, and then I will be adding capabilities to it in the future. The more I develop it now, the easier it will be to delegate programming tasks in that area because the structure of it will be more clearly defined.
With programing it is interesting that some tasks that seem like they would be quick to accomplish actually end up taking a long time, and vice-versa. Generally when I start in a new area it can initially take a while to accomplish things, but then I become increasingly more productive where I can achieve a lot in a single day.
I’m glad that I understand what is happening under the hood and that I’m able to create the structure of it. That way delegating programming tasks will be much easier. Wherever technical issues are eliminated and the structures are established, it will simply be a process of having programmers following specific instructions, much like construction workers on a house. That means development will be much more efficient and a lot less expensive than it would be if programmers would be hired to create the entire structure. In some cases I could even hire amateur programmers who are looking to learn and gain experience. (However I will be all for hiring technical consultants as well though, of course.)
Eventually I would like to hire a technical director for managing that aspect altogether, but first I will want to focus on getting things running in a basic state with people creating content remotely. Also a news editor would be important as well, but that would come later too.
I hope I don’t sound arrogant or whatever for making such presumptions. I do think what I’m communicating with the websites is very important though. I think the information is very accurate, although I always try to remind myself to allow for the possibility that there might be some issues with it here and there. Everything I know about politics I have accumulated over years of combing through information sources on the internet, and also by reading books and viewing documentaries that I have found that way also.
