It looks like I’m going to need to start focusing on technical issues with my websites right away.
My hosting provider and WordPress were warning me that the version of PHP that I had programmed in is depreciated, so I need to update that. However that will entail some debugging in a few places, so I will need to start getting back into that and focusing on it.
I notice that the WordPress article pages for NOITV have stopped working (but the homepages and older article pages are still working), so I need to focus on fixing that first.
Note that you can use the Internet Wayback Machine for the time being to see some of the missing article pages, where the last time somebody updated it was on December 22, 2025.
When I was doing a lot of heavy programming in 2022 I wanted to use the newly introduced version of PHP to do it because it has a lot of nice new features, but the latest version wasn’t available to use on my hosting platform because it was only a Beta version. But now it is required on my hosting platform because the older version is no longer supported. So now I need to go through and update the programming in a few places, which wouldn’t be a problem, but I’ve been entirely out of the routine of doing heavy programming such as that since then.
Ultimately that is fine though because I’ve been wanting to get back into the routine of that for a while, but it will mean no more significant updates on NOITV for the time being.
It will be important for me to be fully back into the swing of the heavy programming once the resolution happens happens anyway, so I will be able to delegate further development with it.
I’m also looking forward to using AI for programming development for the first time. For decades I’ve always thought of how great it would be to be able to have “construction programmers” at my disposal, and now I can have exactly that using AI! But nonetheless delegating to other people will be important also.
I hope all is well.
