Everything that has been happening lately in the world is nuts! I hope things will be ok.

I’m very curious about what is happening in the larger situation that is associated with me.  For example, I wonder how many people are seeing the information that I’m posting.  It will be nice when the resolution happens.  A lot will be able to be accomplished when there is clarity and additional resources.

I think my situation is a unique one, and I have always been consistent in explaining that my organizations must simply be “businesses” that I own where I hire people, and people will also be able to donate their time if they appreciate what the businesses are doing and want to contribute.  Also as I’ve always said the businesses can’t be “Democratically elected” where the people involved would “vote” on my decisions, because corrupt people would immediately be sent into them to compromise the message.  But of course I will always be interested in what people think though.

I’m amazed by how many people are supporting Joe Biden!  I’m working on an article about that now.  I hope all is well..

I went shopping today and I bought a big bag of rice.  It was the first time that I was away from the apartment for a while.  The total was $39.99 and the checkout time was 2:17, so that looks good.  I will have a light out if someone wants to stop by today.  I must say that the apartment is a bit of a mess though! I hope all is well..

Today I created some articles that I wish that I would have made a while ago, in particular David Wood’s video about Muhammad Ali and information about how dogs are treated in Islam.

I also replaced the “adoption is not allowed in Islam” section on the “Surprising but True” article with the dog information..  I don’t really think the “adoption” issue is as important as the other points on that page even though the circumstances of it are strange.  Apparently often Muslims still take care of children in a similar manner as adoption anyway, so I just removed that point from the article.

I’m going to be making new articles on Open Minded Realism for the time being rather than on NOITV while I’m working on programming tasks, although I will still shift the position of NOITV articles in its blog stream.  Eventually I will be moving more of the OMR articles over to NOITV, but that is not a priority for the moment.  I’m going to be focusing more on programming tasks for the time being but I will still maintain the content on the surface of the sites as well.

I went shopping again today and got some strange amounts.  First I went in the morning and got a total of $87.01 with a checkout time of 10:16, so I went again in the evening and got a total of $22.12 with a checkout time of 8:13.  I’m sure I will get better times eventually.  I hope all is well..

The situation with areas of the U.S. cracking down because of Coronavirus seems to be accelerating.  From what I have heard the illness is actually very similar to normal flus, with it mostly effecting the elderly and people who already have illnesses or medical conditions.  I hope things will be ok with that.

I will be working on the programming of NOITV, so I will be making updates to Open Minded Realism instead, although you can still see all of the content that already exists on NOITV.  I’m also shifting previous content to the homepage of OMR as well as adding new articles to it, and I will continue to do that for the near future.

Recently I noticed that where I previously had a video of the Megan Kelly interviewing Ayaan Hirsi Ali, it was next to a video of a news story about a woman Mary Camos who had her airline seat re-assigned, but both Kelly and Camos were wearing similar black dresses so it looked strange when the videos were posted next to each other.  The videos had been posted several days apart and I wonder if I had other articles posted between them that I either moved to NOITV or deleted since then.  Also both of the original videos that I posted were taken offline and the replacements that I found have the poster frames that they do now, so perhaps the similarity was accidentally more pronounced when I re-embedded them.  In any event I’m sure that I didn’t post the videos side-by-side in such a manner on purpose.  That is another example of one of those strange situations that people might wonder about but it can be cleared up through an explanation..

There is one more thing about the Megan Kelly Interview..  At first I posted it on the homepage today along with the other articles, however after watching it again I saw that Ayaan Hirsi Ali is advocating to “reform” Islam by removing Sharia law from it, however I tend to disagree with such an approach as being unworkable, and I am in favor of simply leaving it altogether instead.  I do respect Hirsi Ali though, she has been through a lot.

I went shopping again today, but the amounts weren’t that great..  It was $38.51 with a checkout time of 8:09.  I think I made a mistake of not going and getting a replacement bag of peanuts because it had a hole in it..  If I had, the checkout time would have been 8:10 or 8:11 which I think would have been preferable to the “9” for the day.  But in any event there will be more chances for amounts though, and I will be busy working on the websites until then.  I hope all is well.

I went shopping today and I think I made a big mistake.. When I checked out the cashier told me the amount was $86.87, and then asked if I had a discount card..  Normally I ask them to use the store card out of habit, and believe it or not I made the mistake of doing that..  I normally have an internalized “policy” that I always use the store card amount for the amounts, but still in retrospect I think it was crazy to do that then..  But also I think it was subconsciously showing “trust” that the amount would still be good also with the discount applied..  But anyway the amount ended up being $84.83 with a checkout time of 2:02.  I think if the checkout time would have been 2:01 instead, my mistake of applying the discount would have made me even more upset with myself and depressed, but I’m still bummed out about that situation nonetheless.

So..  I went shopping again in the evening, but I got bad amounts that time.  I had a feeling that it wasn’t going to come out well when I was checking out.  I think the cashier seemed to sense that also and she seemed to be trying to help by slowing down the checkout process.  The total was $46.60, with a checkout time of 8:17.

So that’s pretty bad..  I always hate it when I get the 6’s..  But the situation always seems to rebound the next time around.  I’m sorry about flubbing the earlier amount, although I wonder what the two 2’s would have meant.  I’m sure the amounts will come out well soon, perhaps it isn’t quite time for it to happen.

Anyway my work is cut out for me.  There is a lot I can continue to be doing in the meantime.  I’m sure things will work out soon..  I hope all is well.

I’ve continuing to clean up OMR, and I’ve fixed the images as I’ve mentioned.  I’ve basically re-sized the embedding of the images while also cleaning up other issues with the articles.  I think the site looking a lot better now.  In the past I generally didn’t embed images of negative things to have 7s, but I have found a few that I was surprised had 7s in their dimensions.  For example in the “Hitler and Nazis embraced Islam during World War II” article I found the images of the various modern extremist Islamic groups having 7’s in their image sizes!  I can’t imagine why I would have resized them to be like that!  Sometimes I have a mentality of “the 7’s will help ‘fix’ it or ‘change’ it,” but still I think it is very strange that I would have done that in that case.  I found a few other similar types of issues with images in other articles (surprisingly including in the article about the “merry Florist,” unfortunately!) although generally I used 5’s for such negative types of images.  I hope the site hasn’t been tampered with somehow..  Sometimes I find issues such as that and I wonder if that was the case.

In any event, that is another example of where the lack of communication in the situation is problematic.  I’m sure there are a lot of other issues that people think are strange or upsetting but can be cleared up simply through communication (and also on top of that I’m far from perfect anyway.)

Here is another issue that has been.. er.. “cropping up.”  When I put images on the websites, adjusting their sizes is a part of the process.  And when I’ve been doing it, I notice that “positive” numbers show up, so I’ve been finding myself biasing the numbers to that.  However, just like with all “numerology” type things, by making numbers “positive” in one case turns the other numbers in all the other cases to poison!  Also with certain images people might think it is bad that I would make it a “7” if it is a picture of something that is negative (but I think it is appropriate in the numerology mentality as a “healing” or “repairing” number..  I didn’t intentionally make anything a “6” no matter what it is.)

When I found the issue with WordPress resizing the images the other day I went through and removed them, but I’ve also found myself biasing the new images to have “positive” numbers.  So today I’m going through and “cleansing” the images of any meaning based on their numbers by resizing their embedding to simply be the most appropriate size for the post, and I will never have the numbers associated with the images have any sort of a meaning again.  And good riddance with that!  That was a terrible situation.

When I’m resizing the embedding of the images on the pages, I’m making them be whatever is the most appropriate size visually, going in even increments.. such as 500, 550, 600, 625, ect.. Sometimes images will have sixes in them, ect.. but who cares, it doesn’t have anything to do with anything.  (Note the actual image sizes will sometimes have “positive” numbers in them still, but that would take days to fix so I’m just going to leave that.  However, from here on out I will use any size of images and any size of embedding them.  Often a standard image size is “600 x 400” or whatever, for example— but it just doesn’t mean anything though.)

The inconsistency of it all was annoying as well..  I notice that sometimes the actual image sizes were “5”s or even “6”s even though I changed the embedding sizes to be “7”s.  I never meant to insult anyone with the numbers that were used!  That was such a problematic issue.

I would recommend to people that the number thing is bad to get mixed up with for all of such reasons.  It is a very superficial thing also, actually.

And one more thing..  The time when I make posts and updates to articles no longer has any meaning whatsoever either.  I’ve been finding myself getting into doing that again too, but that also “poisons” the entire process as well!

I’ve been going through and fixing up Open Minded Realism quite a bit.. There is a lot of important information there.  Currently I’m in the process of making the articles have a more consistent format.  Also I’ve removed an article from it today and posted corrections to others.

The article that I removed was one that criticized a French illustration that showed how to counter “Islamophobia” on the subway.  I don’t necessarily disagree with what I said in the article, but I thought it appeared as being “mean spirited” by using the illustration as an example, so I think it was counterproductive.

Anyway fixing the websites is an ongoing process and I think they are continually looking better.  I will start adding new articles to OMR again more frequently in the near future, and I will be working more on NOITV as well.
